Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting with month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, reviewing and understanding various contracts related to our assets under management, and preparing periodic compliance deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including preparing and maintaining work papers and documents supporting the trial balance.
  • Review and understand various contracts related to the assets under management.
  • Prepare periodic compliance deliverables, including a growing number of year-end financial statement audits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accounting procedures comply with US GAAP and internal controls are followed.
  • Assist with cross-department projects and other ad hoc initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting is required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting is preferred.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a fast-growing company.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Highly motivated, independent, results-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of ownership.
