Plasma Center Operations Leader

The Opportunity
This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations and staff management at our plasma collection center, ensuring optimal efficiency in plasma donation processes.
You will be accountable to the Center Manager.
The Role
+ Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by supervising daily activities at the center. Provide clear guidance and expectations, conduct team meetings, and communicate performance standards effectively. You may also be required to assist in various operational tasks.
+ Collaborate with Group Leaders to streamline donor flow throughout the center, minimizing wait times and enhancing processing efficiency.
+ Guarantee that the center is adequately staffed to meet operational demands based on its size, structure, and donor traffic. Monitor attendance, time card reporting, and overtime utilization.
+ Conduct investigations into operational errors and propose improvements to enhance processes.
+ Participate in performance evaluations alongside management, offering constructive feedback. Document necessary corrective actions and maintain current employee training records and performance evaluations.
+ Assist in the recruitment and selection of operational staff as needed.
+ Uphold and advocate for adherence to company policies and procedures.
+ Support the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at improving donor retention.
+ Ensure accurate documentation of donor information in the electronic management system as per SOPs.
+ Familiarize yourself with policies and procedures related to hyper immune programs at the center, if applicable.
+ Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and documentation. Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Conduct routine audits of internal procedures and documentation.
+ Safeguard the confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
+ Be prepared to be cross-trained in various technical areas and functions to meet business needs.
+ Bilingual skills may be advantageous, at the discretion of the organization, to fulfill business requirements.
+ Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
Your Skills and Experience
Education
+ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
+ A Bachelor's Degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing the activities of others is required.

+ Collaborate with internal contacts to achieve common goals.
+ Make decisions that moderately impact the immediate work unit.
+ Ability to interact with customers and observe equipment operations.
+ Occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking for extended periods.
+ Capable of reaching, bending, kneeling, and possessing a high level of manual dexterity.
+ Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
+ Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
+ Regular exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
+ Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing specific tasks or in designated areas.
+ Availability to work overtime and extended hours to support operational needs.
