Job Overview:
The Export Customer Service Representative (ECSR) plays a crucial role in managing order entry and providing exceptional service to international clients. As the primary point of contact for our overseas customers, the ECSR is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience with our products, services, and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries, clarify available services, rectify errors, and provide pricing information.
- Process orders and develop leads while promoting our products and services.
- Handle complex customer inquiries by escalating them to the appropriate Technical Support.
- Prepare international quotations and proforma invoices.
- Utilize ORACLE-based systems to manage export orders efficiently.
- Coordinate logistics for the transportation of goods via air, sea, and land.
- Track international shipments and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Assist in preparing export documentation, including Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Origin.
- Conduct restricted party screenings for customers and foreign visitors.
- Collaborate with sales teams on export quotes and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate processing of customer requests, including quotes and order modifications.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an Associate's Degree in International Studies, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in international logistics and export operations. A solid understanding of Export Administration Regulations and current INCOTERMS is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and experience with Oracle systems is advantageous.
