Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for the SIGINT Sensor Resource Manager role will oversee the setup and functioning of Air Force DCGS ground and airborne sensor systems. This position necessitates daily collaboration with system maintainers, mission planners, and operators to ensure optimal system configuration, performance analysis, and troubleshooting of any operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer system support for the PCPAD process.
  • Deliver direct mission assistance to both low band and high band journeyman experts during Pre-Mission, Mission execution, and Post-Mission activities.
  • Continuously monitor the health and status of sensors and ground systems, swiftly addressing any emerging issues.
  • Conduct mission-centric end-to-end analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for SIGINT systems.
  • Simultaneously manage and configure multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions at a Core site.
  • Maintain all HBS software to ensure compatibility with various sensors, sites, and systems.
  • Oversee the administration of COTS or GOTS software solutions utilized by DCGS operators and analysts.
  • Identify and document anomalies, creating and managing Incident tickets to support engineering and technical resolutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures.
  • Support the development and optimization of TTPs and OIs following upgrades.
  • Conduct on-the-job training to improve proficiency and identify areas for sustainment support enhancement.
  • Execute TCTO, TCNO, and other directives as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in military SIGINT domains, including U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1, and MQ-9 sensors, along with processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures.
  • Proficiency in UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration.
  • Experience managing COTS or GOTS software solutions for DCGS operators and analysts.
  • Familiarity with VMware administration and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of software development practices, including shell scripts and various programming languages.
  • Experience with Oracle database administration.
  • Understanding of x86-based server hardware.
  • Familiarity with ticket reporting systems.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity tools and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of ten years in Information System Security Management.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience with AF DCGS.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Possession of an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

Education and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
  • DoD IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification.
  • DoD IASAE Level I certification.
