Job Summary

As a Human Resources Specialist with the Air National Guard Units, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's human resources programs. You will serve as an advisor to commanders, interpreting policy and providing procedural guidance to ensure the effective management of personnel resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and assistance on unit programs, including Career Enhancements, Customer Service, and Employment.
  • Develop internal policies and procedures governing administration of Personnel Employment programs.
  • Manage and provide technical expertise on various special programs, including Deserving Airman Promotion Program and Extensions/Reenlistment Program.
  • Administer the test program, including the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test and Defense Language Aptitude Battery Test.
  • Monitor and provide technical guidance on counseling regarding Servicemen Group Life Insurance benefits.

Requirements
  • Experience in human resources administration, including interpreting policy and providing procedural guidance.
  • Ability to develop internal policies and procedures governing administration of Personnel Employment programs.
  • Technical expertise in various special programs, including Deserving Airman Promotion Program and Extensions/Reenlistment Program.
  • Ability to administer test programs, including the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test and Defense Language Aptitude Battery Test.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with the Air National Guard Units. The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
