Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Apartment Property Manager to join our team at Westcal Management. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential complexes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Gather and interpret current market and economic trends that may impact our communities.
  • Operations Management: Organize and manage day-to-day operations, including staff assignments and vendor management.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication between management staff, vendors, and tenants.
  • Supervision: Implement supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Westcal Management policy and applicable laws.
  • Financial Management: Prepare community budgets and financial statements, including reporting on occupancy, budget variances, and open AR balances.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year solid experience in all aspects of apartment property management.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of RealPage-One Site and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability in analyzing problems, developing alternatives, and implementing effective strategies.
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Extensive knowledge of landlord, tenant, and rental housing laws.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality customer care.
  • Education and Certification: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
