Hourly Wage: $24.00 to $26.00 based on experience
Note: This role requires residency in an on-site, rent-free apartment.

Position Summary:
Mutual Housing Management is dedicated to delivering exceptional property management services across its portfolio of 19 affordable multifamily properties. The Property Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a supportive environment for residents
- Ensuring sound fiscal management and maintaining occupancy levels
- Supervising on-site staff and vendor interactions
- Leading community development initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee the daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with established policies. Implement approved rental rate adjustments and manage collection procedures. Review monthly financial reports with the Regional Manager and develop strategies to enhance profitability.
Physical Oversight:
Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely responses to maintenance requests. Conduct regular property inspections and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
Administrative Duties:
Manage the property office, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication with residents. Maintain organized records and ensure timely submission of reports.
Marketing and Resident Relations:
Develop marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy and conduct resident interviews. Ensure adherence to selection criteria and company policies.
Professional Development:
Identify training needs for on-site personnel and facilitate their development in property management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience in property management, with a strong understanding of housing laws and budget management. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Communication Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication abilities are essential for interacting with diverse groups and maintaining positive resident relations.
Education:
A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Certification as a Property Manager is advantageous.
