Position Summary: We are seeking a Mobility Helpdesk Technician to assist the Mobility Program Office (MPO) within our Federal Government Client. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive end-user support through various channels including walk-in assistance, Remedy ticket management, phone, instant messaging, and email communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address IT requests, troubleshoot software issues, and create instructional materials to guide users through agency intranets.
- Respond promptly to support tickets and user inquiries.
- Maintain and update the Frequently Asked Questions for the team.
- Provide walk-up helpdesk services for troubleshooting mobile device hardware and software issues.
- Conduct training sessions for users assigned Remote-Use laptops.
- Assist the Mobility Program Office in configuring laptops, which includes:
- Establishing baseline software configurations.
- Requesting, generating, and updating software configuration certificates.
- Configuring and distributing new laptops.
- Implement technical software configuration changes for end users.
- Contribute to the documentation of MPO technical procedures.
- Support MPO with hardware surplus processing.
- Manage the MPO database to meet program requirements.
- Oversee internal documentation related to property and security.
- Top Secret Clearance required; CI Polygraph will be necessary post-hire.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting mobility users.
Preferred Skills:
- CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus.
