Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a Mobility Helpdesk Technician to assist the Mobility Program Office (MPO) within our Federal Government Client. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive end-user support through various channels including walk-in assistance, Remedy ticket management, phone, instant messaging, and email communications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Address IT requests, troubleshoot software issues, and create instructional materials to guide users through agency intranets.
  • Respond promptly to support tickets and user inquiries.
  • Maintain and update the Frequently Asked Questions for the team.
  • Provide walk-up helpdesk services for troubleshooting mobile device hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for users assigned Remote-Use laptops.
  • Assist the Mobility Program Office in configuring laptops, which includes:
    • Establishing baseline software configurations.
    • Requesting, generating, and updating software configuration certificates.
    • Configuring and distributing new laptops.
  • Implement technical software configuration changes for end users.
  • Contribute to the documentation of MPO technical procedures.
  • Support MPO with hardware surplus processing.
  • Manage the MPO database to meet program requirements.
  • Oversee internal documentation related to property and security.
Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance required; CI Polygraph will be necessary post-hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting mobility users.

Preferred Skills:
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus.
