Service Desk Technician Job Description

Pennant Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch technical support to our clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain Active Directory and Exchange systems, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • Support PC hardware, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devices, and file servers.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of general IT experience, including 2+ years in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent telephone skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Availability to work 7 am to 5 pm, Wednesday-Saturday.

Nice to Have:

  • Security+ certification.
  • Experience with SCCM, VDI, and VMWare, as well as Command Line/PowerShell commands.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field.

About the Role:

This position supports the Department of State and requires a Top Secret Clearance.
