Automotive Acoustic Sensing Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Acoustic Sensing System Development: Design and develop advanced acoustic sensing systems for automotive applications, focusing on detection, identification, and tracking of sound targets.
- Signal Processing and Algorithm Development: Develop and apply audio signal processing chain algorithms to improve system performance and fuse data with other automotive systems.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve technical issues related to field data collection and demonstration in live automotive settings.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Help build, guide, and mentor a growing technical team, leveraging expertise in sensors, signals, and their application in various settings.
- Education: Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Work Experience: 3-6 years of experience in related areas, including project team lead roles.
- Technical Skills: Strong MATLAB programming skills, competent in C/C++ and/or Python, with experience in applying machine learning to signals in domains like audio, vibration, electrical, etc.
- Collaboration and Leadership: A positive, collaborative attitude, with experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
