Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Utilize state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including:
  • Tires and tire repair
  • Car heating and air conditioning
  • Steering and suspension
  • Belts and hoses
  • Radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Batteries, starting and charging
  • Brakes and brake repair
  • Oil changes
  • Check engine light
  • Mufflers and exhaust services
  • Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Possess knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics, as well as experience working with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
  • Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree a plus, and state-specific auto repair certifications.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, high personal productivity, and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
