- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Cost Accounting: Analyze production costs and inventory levels, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and financial performance evaluations, identifying key drivers of profitability and areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review accounting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Epicor) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience with cost accounting and inventory management is a plus.
