GU Surgical Pathologist

Job Summary: The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a highly skilled surgical pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in genitourinary/ENT/endocrine service, with the opportunity to focus on GU or ENT pathology. Our laboratory processes approximately 60,000 surgical specimens per year, providing a diverse and challenging workload. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the appointee will have the opportunity to work closely with multi-specialty UW Comprehensive Cancer Center groups on collaborative clinical and translational research projects and to teach a variety of learners. The University of Wisconsin Medical Center is a tertiary care center with comprehensive programs in cancer and transplantation.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will sign-out clinical cases on the genitourinary/ENT/endocrine service with a focus on GU or ENT pathology. They will also contribute to our teaching mission and collaborate on translational research projects. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows. They will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Qualifications: MD or DO or equivalent. Surgical experience and expertise in genitourinary/ENT/endocrine pathology are required.
