Role Summary

The Finance & Accounts team is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our dynamic group. This position will report directly to the FP&A Manager, North America. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the FP&A Manager by delivering comprehensive monthly management reports that encompass all aspects of the Profit & Loss statement and cash flow. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with various functional leaders to identify key performance drivers, elucidate actual results, and prepare detailed forecasts and plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly reporting process to facilitate informed decision-making with a business-focused perspective on financial performance.
  • Consolidate variance analyses across regions against the Plan and Forecast, including root cause analysis and narrative explanations.
  • Support SG&A functional reporting, with a particular emphasis on IT.
  • Collaborate with IT and SG&A functional leaders to establish annual budgets and report on significant variances, utilizing persuasive communication skills to align performance with company-wide objectives.
  • Coordinate cash flow reporting, including detailed calculations for working capital management.
  • Manage various workflows within the team, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of financial and operational information.
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards for enhanced data visualization.
  • Update cost outlooks monthly and prepare quarterly consolidations of the 18-month rolling forecast.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Plan and Strategic Plan, analyzing the impact of key assumptions and market dynamics on business projections.
  • Gain familiarity with the complete P&L and articulate the primary drivers of net income.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing financial data.
  • Fundamental understanding of US-GAAP and management accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP or Consolidation/Forecasting systems (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream, SAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI.
  • Proactive management style, demonstrating curiosity and a passion for the business while maintaining organization and structure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate group discussions toward deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or a graduate degree in Finance or Data Science.
  • Experience within a manufacturing organization.
  • Ability to develop PowerBI solutions.
