LGBTQ Program Assistant

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a LGBTQ Program Assistant. This role will provide critical support to the National Institute on LGBTQ Intimate Partner Violence, focusing on training and technical assistance.
About the Position:
This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Senior Program Manager. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to LGBTQ people.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and facilitating trainings, as well as providing technical assistance as needed.
- Co-facilitate virtual and in-person training on LGBTQ intimate partner violence to social service providers across the country.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, events, and participants.
- Draft language for resource guides, email blasts, newsletters, and other public-facing documents.
- Provide administrative support for the Institute, Governance Committee members, and Policy and Community Building Department including processing invoices, credit card forms, and reimbursements.
- Participate as a member of all Institute and Department meetings and organizational special events.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a passion for the Center's work and its mission to make the world a better place for LGBTQ people. They will also have experience working in an administrative capacity, including proficiency with word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and database operations.
