Job OverviewPosition Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Shift Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM

Compensation: $18/hr

Location: Chester, VA

Qualifications: Previous experience with hand and power tools is essential. Experience in assembly roles is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assigned to either sub-assembly or general assembly areas based on operational requirements.
  • Tasked with attaching brackets, fasteners, clips, and other components to units following precise specifications.
  • Utilizes hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers, necessitating prior experience.
  • Must be proficient in reading a tape measure for accurate measurements.
  • Responsible for meeting daily production targets as discussed in morning briefings.
  • Maintains a strong focus on detail and accuracy throughout the shift.
  • Required to stand for extended periods during 8-hour shifts.
  • Involved in the preparation of materials for shipment, including painting and wrapping.
Essential Skills
  • Assembly proficiency
