Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production Assembler who will play a crucial role in the assembly of refrigeration units and/or partial sub-assemblies, adhering to specified timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and understand work orders.
  • Identify components and their descriptions using work order details.
  • Recognize the power and hand tools required for the assigned production line.
  • Execute assembly tasks utilizing hand/power tools or foam dispensers.
  • Apply appropriate material gauging and dimensioning information.
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as rulers, tape measures, and metal squares.
  • Secure components together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Collaborate as part of an assembly team to complete units.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months of experience in an assembly role within a manufacturing setting.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Ability to operate power tools and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills (e.g., threading nuts onto bolts, initiating screws). May involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance, on a recurring basis. Work is conducted in a production environment, subject to temperature fluctuations, hazardous materials, mechanical components, elevated noise levels, and dust.
