We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at VCU Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Assist the healthcare team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
- Recognize changes in patient situations and intervene appropriately.
- Provide direction, education, and assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
- 12 to 24 months RN experience for Clinical II, 3 years of clinical experience for Clinical III.
- Academic healthcare experience.
- Experience with similar patient populations in an acute care setting.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and interact with patients and families in a compassionate and professional manner.
