Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at LanceSoft. As a Clinical Care LVN/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements.
- Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site in emergent situations.
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout, as well as assist with wait room management and other responsibilities.
- Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experience.
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience administering immunizations and injections, as well as providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
- Previous experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record.
- Licensure/Certifications: The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State.
Education:
- Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
