Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Virginia Western Community College. As a Corporate & Professional Training Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative and cutting-edge training programs for our corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized training programs for corporate clients
  • Deliver training sessions online, on-campus, or at client sites
  • Utilize current technology to design, develop, and implement courses
  • Effectively communicate with participants from diverse backgrounds
  • Concurrently differentiate instruction to meet the needs of various learners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, Business Management, Educational & Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in industry training, corporate training, or community college teaching
  • Demonstrated history of instructional design and delivery
  • Ability to motivate participants using experiential learning strategies
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and corporate, strategic objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, Business Management, Educational & Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Knowledge of trending developments in related fields of specialization
  • Ability to contribute and present innovative ideas and methods for new curricula and programs
