Job Description

We are a family-owned and operated leading steel fabricator and erector specializing in industrial, manufacturing, and commercial projects. Our team is dedicated to quality and safety, designing, fabricating, and erecting some of the country's most heavy-duty facilities. We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to oversee our engineering and detailing departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering department and oversee the detailing team.
  • Design and analyze steel structures for various projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Utilize SDS2 software for detailing and design tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of structural design experience, with a focus on steel construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
  • Proficient in SDS2 or similar structural design software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
