Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Abdominal Transplant Unit at Duke University Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including pre-liver transplant, liver transplant, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, small bowel transplant, and hand transplant.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) OR Associate's Degree in Nursing OR Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
  • BLS Certification.
