Woodworking Sales Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Rockler Woodworking in Tukwila, WA. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and assisting with sales and merchandising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including facing, dusting, and general housekeeping.
- Assist with sales and merchandising efforts, including unloading trucks, pricing, and merchandising products.
- Ring sales and handle customer refunds.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of woodworking and hand tools desirable.
- Previous retail sales experience desirable.
- Ability to understand situations where a return or refund of merchandise can be authorized.
- Ability to be a team player, outgoing, approachable, and congenial.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in team lifting.
