Job Description

A Action Appliance Repair LLC is a family-owned company providing top-notch appliance repair services in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

We offer a unique opportunity for appliance enthusiasts to join our award-winning team as an Appliance Service Technician. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and become the customer's hero.

As a member of our team, you will benefit from a base pay with commissions, resulting in an annual income of $65,000-$100,000. Our generous benefits package includes insurance, paid time off, and 401K.

Our General Manager, Service Manager, and Parts Manager will provide you with superior support and training. You will be dispatched directly from your home, equipped with a fully stocked van, a laptop, internet, a smartphone, and uniforms.

We are looking for experienced technicians as well as individuals interested in pursuing a career in the home service business. Sign-on bonus for experienced technicians and financial assistance for the right candidate who wants to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain home appliances and equipment
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs and installations, collect payment, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
