Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Aerotek. As a Quality Inspector, you will work closely with bench jewelers to refine gemstones and precious metals. Your duties will include using electronic and hand tools to remove dull coatings or scratches from metal jewelry made of silver, gold, or platinum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detaching rough cuts of jewels from metal
- Placing frames into machines for rough finishing
- Buffing surfaces with increasingly fine abrasives to achieve a high shine
- Maintaining and inspecting tools regularly to ensure precise results
Requirements:
- Maintenance and repair skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Knowledge of sensors, motors, and electrical systems
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
