Culinary Supervisor Job Description

The Culinary Supervisor is a key member of our food service team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and Sanitation: Ensure that all workstations are properly set up and sanitized throughout the day.
  • Food Preparation: Supervise the preparation of food items according to recipes and brand requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that all food items are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Team Management: Delegate tasks to employees, provide coaching and performance feedback, and assist with employee counseling sessions.
  • Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the food and hospitality industry is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and use problem-solving and decision-making skills.

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may also be required.
