Position Summary:
As an Executive Sous Chef, your main responsibility will be to create exceptional culinary experiences that surpass guest expectations while providing strong leadership to your team. You will ensure adherence to recipe standards, maintain safety and sanitation protocols, and guarantee that food quality and presentation are consistently outstanding. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to work autonomously while effectively managing team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement menus that align with brand standards
  • Maintain recipes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Foster a culture of heartfelt hospitality among team members
  • Equip team members with the necessary tools for success
  • Uphold show quality standards at all times
  • Solicit feedback from clients and guests to enhance service
  • Support and communicate company initiatives
  • Address and resolve any guest service challenges
  • Hold team accountable to service excellence
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules as directed
  • Conduct daily inspections of culinary areas
  • Continuously enhance culinary skills and knowledge
  • Practice effective inventory control and equipment handling
  • Achieve daily sales and cost management goals
  • Ensure compliance with security, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Employ best practices in safety and sanitation
  • Forecast staffing needs to meet operational demands
  • Plan operational requirements for anticipated business levels
  • Ensure adherence to company guidelines and training manuals
  • Promote a positive work environment
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members
  • Facilitate regular communication between management and staff
  • Encourage teamwork to maximize productivity and morale
  • Utilize performance management tools to guide team members
  • Assist colleagues as needed
  • Mentor Sous Chefs to enhance their skills and leadership
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Ability to taste and assess food and beverage quality
  • Effective communication skills with management, guests, and team members
  • Proven team-building and management capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications
