About the Role:
Papa Murphy's is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Prep Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our preparation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are well-prepared for customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be in proper uniform and ready to take responsibility for the shift at the assigned time.
- Learn/have complete operation and safety knowledge of mixer, sheeter, dicer, and cheese shredder.
- Be responsible to complete the "Daily Inventory" and "Prep List" using a computer.
- Prioritize the day's work, completing tasks which, if not done first, would jeopardize the store's operation.
- Mix dough to recipe and roll dough balls to standard.
- Sheet, wrap, date, and store crusts to Papa Murphy's standards.
- Comply with all Papa Murphy's sanitation procedures and safety standards.
- Receive and check in all orders delivered to the store following proper order/receiving procedures.
- Properly store and rotate all products before and after prepping to ensure quality.
- SMILE and be friendly, even when things get chaotic.
- Be responsible for the efficient use of time allocated to each task. Comply with "Performance Standards".
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
- Be willing to perform duties of a Counter Person or Cashier Team Member by answering phones, cashiering, and/or making pizzas.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate effectively.
- Use basic math skills.
- Arrive to work on time (usually early mornings).
- Lift up to 45 pounds to shoulder height frequently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outgoing, friendly with a strong sense of hospitality and urgency.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as we are open 7 days a week.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Quick service experience is a plus.
- A desire to grow and become a supervisor is a plus.

Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $18.20 to $18.70 per hour. Tips are included in this wage range. The maximum expected hourly rate including tips is $18.70 per hour.
