Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a nurturing treatment environment within the assigned living unit, fostering growth and development, and empowering youth to lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth, utilizing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans.
Collaborate with a diverse team of experts, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and psychologists, to create and maintain a comprehensive treatment environment.
Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring a focus on youth's mental and behavioral health needs.
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying precipitating events, gathering histories, and assessing family, social, and work relationships.
Provide education and support to youth, families, and staff on mental health topics, promoting a culture of positive human development.
Participate in regular team meetings, sharing expertise and collaborating on treatment plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy, or Master's degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral health science.
Licensed by the State of Oregon.
Three years of progressively responsible experience related to the series concept, or two years with a Master's degree.
Eligible for certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Licensure in a discipline related to substance use treatment or sexual harming behaviors.
Strong clinical skills with adolescents and young adults, with the ability to provide clinical work independently.
Experience providing treatment in gang affiliation, anger management, fire setting, and violent offending.
