Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience as an audit professional
  • 1+ years of experience leading audit engagements
  • Strong understanding of audit services, FASB, and GAAS
  • Excellent technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, with review experience a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer software
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience auditing non-profits a strong plus, with internal audit experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field, with CPA certification or progress toward obtaining it
Key Responsibilities
  • Review work performed by staff on standard testing and related substantive testing
  • Complete on-site testing required for assigned clients, including control, operations, and fraud assessments
  • Perform required financial controls assessment and related analytics
  • Complete testing required by Engagement Director relative to identified risk areas
  • Review initial draft of financial statements and complete GAAS compliance checklist
  • Draft 990 workbook
