Health Screener Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Health Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Health Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibility will be to screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results. You will also be responsible for answering phones, greeting donors, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
- Answer phones and greet donors
- Maintain accurate records and use our Donor Information System
- Coordinate donor compensation and identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. You will also receive up to 80 hours of sick time and 120 hours of paid vacation per year.
