Overview:
The Test Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development of production testing strategies that align with product design specifications. This role encompasses the creation of comprehensive test plans and requirements for both hardware and software components of customer products.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Spearhead the procurement, qualification, and installation support for manufacturing processes throughout the factory.
2. Ensure accountability for optimizing test processes, focusing on enhancing productivity, cycle time, and yield across a multi-customer factory environment.
3. Provide project leadership by managing team members and suppliers to facilitate extensive test deployments, including structural, functional, system, stress, and final testing applications at the factory level.
4. Support the sales process by contributing to the quoting process with technical insights.
5. Collaborate with design teams to improve solutions based on feedback regarding product testability, coverage, diagnosability, reparability, and user experience.
6. Stay informed on relevant industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance and innovation.
7. Address complex challenges related to product yield or test performance, establishing oneself as an industry-recognized expert in a specific testing domain.
8. Provide company-wide support for test strategy, including training, capital investment planning, equipment rotation, supplier relationship management, and evaluation of industry equipment.
9. Set annual objectives and goals for the department, guiding expected performance, conducting regular evaluations, and providing continuous feedback.

Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily office-based, involving extended periods of sitting and focused visual concentration on computer screens and detailed data. Repetitive manual tasks, such as data entry and using a computer mouse, are frequently required. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Experience and Education:
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience is preferred, along with a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
