Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes aimed at achieving excellence in quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery for Celestica and its clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

1. **Process Development:** Design and implement innovative manufacturing processes to support a variety of customer products.
2. **Software and Tooling Development:** Create application software and tools for complex machinery and mechanical processes within the manufacturing sector.
3. **Data Analysis:** Utilize Design of Experiments and statistical methods to maximize resource utilization, throughput, and capacity growth while minimizing costs.
4. **Problem Solving:** Address technical challenges related to product, process, and components that impact efficient manufacturing operations.
5. **Collaboration:** Provide constructive feedback to product designers regarding the manufacturability of designs under supervision.

Physical Requirements:

The responsibilities of this role are typically performed in a standard office environment. Tasks may involve prolonged periods of sitting and focused visual concentration on computer screens or detailed data. Repetitive manual tasks, such as data entry and computer usage, are frequently required. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Experience and Education:

- **Experience:** 1 to 3 years in a related field; prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Educational requirements may vary by region.
