Data-Driven Curriculum and Institutional Research Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Registrar of Curriculum Management and Institutional Research to join our team at InsideHigherEd. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in supporting the College's academic and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Management: Direct the curriculum collection process, including course catalogue submissions and data entry. Prepare detailed reports for the Curriculum Committee to establish upcoming academic year curriculum. Maintain various reports such as teaching load per department and comparison of courses per field across years.
- Institutional Research: Maintain external reporting schedule and direct coordination of data across offices. Prepare reports for submission to various regulatory bodies, including HESC/TAP, IPEDS, MSCHE, NSC, NYSED, and Title II. Closely communicate with staff across offices to direct data collection and submission to above bodies.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and finalize regulatory data to present to the Registrar as keyholder for accurate and timely submission. Generate and provide ad hoc reports as requested to support institutional strategic and tactical planning. Use data to describe Sarah Lawrence College students and faculty in the areas of enrollment, retention, graduation rates, degrees granted, gender, race/ethnicity, and national origin.
- General Responsibilities: Support operations of the Registrar's Office, including taking phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting students and faculty in person. Serve as back-up for processes such as official transcript requests, add/drop data entry, and transfer entry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Three to five years of significant and relevant higher education experience that includes data collection and analysis, and collaboration with campus stakeholders.
- Skills: Strong understanding of various Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook) to perform essential functions. Proficient in preparing and testing complex data queries and audience-specific reports using InfoMaker, Microsoft Access, Microsoft BI, SQL, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or other industry-standard reporting tools.
- Knowledge: Familiar with higher education best practices related to institutional research and data management. Experience with sophisticated visual analytics and dashboard creation preferred. Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical applications preferred.
InsideHigherEd offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $75,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
