ROLE SUMMARY

We are in search of a skilled individual to join our cage operations team. This role involves executing cash exchanges and ensuring an adequate supply of currency, coins, tokens, and chips for all Casino Cashiers. A thorough understanding of, and adherence to, all cage protocols and procedures is essential. You will be responsible for documenting and reporting daily cash transactions while maintaining a balanced vault. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate requests for table fills and credits, as well as slot machine jackpots and fills, including jackpot checks and slot checks.
  • Verify and process bank deposits accurately.
  • Support all Casino Cashiers by exchanging currency and maintaining imprest amounts.
  • Ensure accurate paperwork submission from Casino Cashiers to the Vault.
  • Manage loans and maintain necessary documentation as required.
  • Conduct a physical inventory of vault contents and document findings on the vault inventory form at the end of each shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. A collaborative spirit and positive attitude are essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required. The ability to prioritize effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to interact with diverse personalities while maintaining impartiality. Responsiveness to supervisory guidance and constructive feedback is important for professional growth. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment are vital. Proficiency in mathematics and calculator usage is necessary.
