About the Position

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled and motivated surgeon to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor on the academic or clinician track.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a broad practice in facial plastic surgery, with a focus on Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, and Facial Trauma.
  • Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows in the department.
  • Contribute to the department's research and academic mission through clinical and/or basic science research.
  • Collaborate with other specialties to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong reputation as a facial plastic surgery specialist.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
  • Completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
  • American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery eligible/certified.
  • Demonstrable expertise/interest in facial plastic surgery, particularly in Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, and Facial Trauma.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other specialties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff.
  • Understanding of and commitment to patient care and service.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Education-focused and a creative problem-solver.
