Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Property Operations Manager to join our team at Univesco, Inc. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment communities, with a focus on maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Manager in overseeing maintenance and repair activities, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of apartment homes and community facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in property management maintenance or a related field.
  • HVAC certification and a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
