The Microsoft Federal division was created to cater to the distinct mission, legal and regulatory obligations, and procurement processes of the United States Government (USG). Essential Qualifications

Additional Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Meeting Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is mandatory for this position. Failure to maintain or obtain the necessary clearance and/or customer screening may lead to employment consequences.
Clearance Verification: This role necessitates successful verification of the stated security clearance to comply with federal government customer mandates. Clearance verification information will be required prior to an employment offer.
Cloud Screening: Candidates must successfully complete a Microsoft Cloud background screening, which will be conducted bi-annually.
Preferred Qualifications
Citizenship Verification: This position requires U.S. citizenship verification due to legal restrictions. Specifically, this role supports various U.S. government agency customers and is subject to citizenship-based regulations as permitted by applicable law. Citizenship will be verified through a valid passport or other approved documentation, or verified U.S. government clearance.
Desirable Skills
- Technical expertise in areas such as Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federated Services, Kubernetes, MS Hyper-V/VMWare, Windows Server Update Services, Azure VPN Gateways, Azure Monitor, and Group Policy management.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in SCI/SAP environments.
- Certifications such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-600 (Azure Stack Hub), or similar credentials.
- Security certifications like CISSP, Security+, or equivalent.
Role Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant will be responsible for hands-on automation and enhancement of software and data migration processes in isolated cloud environments. This role includes providing leadership in systems administration and management of Azure DevOps, PKI, Active Directory, and application installations and deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing hypervisor servers/clusters to deliver essential services to remote offices and assisting in fabric management for cloud integration and migration.
- Analyzing and redesigning existing Active Directory Infrastructure to eliminate redundant objects and configurations.
- Creating global federation designs for collaboration, mergers/acquisitions, and high availability/geo-load balancing needs.
- Utilizing Azure, federation services, configuration management, automation, application proxy/edge security, and identity management platforms to integrate multiple record sources into cohesive persona objects for clients across on-premises and cloud environments.
