About the Role
EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to work as Commercial Insurance Inspectors. As a Commercial Insurance Inspector, you will work from your own home or office, servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments in the Chattanooga/East Ridge/Cleveland, TN area, and other locations within approximately 100 miles.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients.
- Manage assignments you accept, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory, and complete work assignments on time.
- Evaluate businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.
Business Types
As a Commercial Insurance Inspector, you will work with various business types, including retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, schools, and more. Most surveys are focused on assessing the business for Property and General Liability coverage, but we also service other commercial insurance lines of business, including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk.
