Position Overview

NUTRITION EDUCATOR

Adagio Health Inc is seeking to fill a full-time Nutrition Educator role, dedicated to enhancing community health through nutrition education.

We recognize your commitment to nutrition with a $750 sign-on bonus, distributed in two phases.

The Nutrition Educator will play a vital role in two essential nutrition initiatives:

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children): Providing nutrition and breastfeeding guidance to pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age 5.

Power Up: Inspiring school-aged children from PreK to high school, along with adults and seniors, through nutrition education and physical activity promotion, enabling them to make healthier choices effortlessly.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Facilitates and conducts educational sessions across various environments.
  2. Ensures that educational content is delivered in accordance with established program guidelines.
  3. Creates engaging, interactive, and succinct lessons.
  4. Develops partnerships with program collaborators to enhance delivery and impact.
  5. Maintains consistent communication with program partners.
  6. Leads and provides technical support for partner-specific projects.
  7. Utilizes indirect channels for outreach.
  8. Completes all necessary documentation, data tracking, and entry within specified timelines.
  9. Delivers high-quality customer service and supports participant recruitment in alignment with other initiatives.
  10. Collaborates with fellow educators to exchange ideas and best practices.
  11. Travels to various offices as required.
  12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

  9. Willingness to engage in ongoing training and meetings for skill enhancement.
  10. Availability for afterschool and weekend programs.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, nutrition, or a related discipline is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for developing, delivering, and assessing educational programs are essential. Experience in youth education within a school context and public health is preferred. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are necessary, as travel is a regular component of the role.
