About the Role

Adagio Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nutrition Educator to join our team in Beaver County. As a Nutrition Educator, you will play a critical role in delivering nutrition education and counseling services to our clients, with a focus on the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program and the Power Up nutrition education program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive nutrition education lessons to clients of all ages
  • Build relationships with program partners to enhance program delivery and effectiveness
  • Maintain regular communication with program partners and stakeholders
  • Initiate, lead, and provide technical assistance on supporting projects-based partner needs
  • Deliver indirect channels and complete all required documentation, data tracking, and data entry by determined deadlines
  • Provide high-quality customer service and participant recruitment in coordination with other Adagio Health initiatives
  • Collaborate with other educators to share ideas and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, education, nutrition, or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to develop, provide, and evaluate education programming
  • Experience in youth education in a school setting and in public health is desirable
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car

We serve approximately 100,000 patients and clients annually, with a focus on women's health, reproductive health, breast and cervical cancer screening, and preventive health services. We operate 9 medical offices in western Pennsylvania and manage the WIC program in 5 Pennsylvania counties.
