Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Float Pool. As a Surgical Technologist, you will assist medical care professionals during medical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and preparing rooms as needed.
You will be required to float between our Orange and Irvine locations, providing flexibility and adaptability in your role.
Responsibilities- Assist medical care professionals during medical procedures
- Ensure a sterile environment and prepare rooms as needed
- Float between Orange and Irvine locations as required
- Monitor techniques as instructed and follow standard procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in an acute care facility
- Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology
- Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Current BLS certification
- Possession of a national Scrub Technician certification
- Demonstrated experience working as a Surgical Tech in a perioperative setting
