Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at CMP. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the medical center, utilizing proper body mechanics.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to ensure seamless patient care, communicating effectively and addressing any concerns.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
