Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Aide to provide personalized care and support to homebound patients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients and their families to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
  • 1 year of recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing situations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
