Position Summary:
The Residential Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Director of Residential Services with the operational and administrative functions for adults residing in community-based settings. This position is essential in supervising Direct Care Support Staff in Montgomery County, ensuring that all team members are well-trained and supported. The Residential Coordinator will also be responsible for implementing Quality Assurance protocols across various residential locations, ensuring that residents enjoy a fulfilling, safe, and healthy lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records.
- Ability to develop and interpret spreadsheets effectively.
- Manage and understand operational budgets.
- Exhibit strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic work environment.
- Possess excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and their families.
- Be flexible and available for after-hours on-call duties and crisis situations.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; an Associate's Degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required.
- At least two years of experience in providing direct support to adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Severe Mental Illness is essential.
- Familiarity with Maryland DDA regulations is advantageous.
