Position Overview

As a Lead Marketing Strategist, you will take charge of crafting and implementing the marketing approach for Pro Audio and Pro Video solutions within the Panasonic Entertainment and Communications division. This unit offers a diverse array of top-tier ProAV hardware, software, and services.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role Will Include:

Formulating and overseeing marketing strategies aimed at boosting engagement, visibility, and sales for the ProAV sector.

  • Implement best practices in niche marketing and advertising to create impactful marketing communications.
  • Develop compelling media narratives, product literature, and other promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research and refine marketing strategies to adapt to evolving market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • Prepare marketing performance reports and present findings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to create targeted messages tailored to specific industries and solutions.
  • Manage the planning and execution of trade shows and events, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing teams.

Craft and implement messaging for ProAV vertical solutions strategy, discovering innovative approaches to market engagement and expanding existing relationships within the industry.

  • Act as a champion for customer needs, fostering awareness and understanding of customer challenges.
  • Produce engaging sales and marketing content to enhance interaction (e.g., case studies, thought leadership pieces, videos, advertising materials).
  • Develop creative briefs for new marketing assets and collaborate with copywriting, design, and video production teams to oversee reviews, approvals, and execution.
  • Manage the rollout of advertising, sponsorship, and public relations initiatives.
  • Support vertical messaging for new product launches.
  • Monitor the marketing budget associated with all marketing operational expenses related to strategy development.
  • Assist in onboarding vendors, ensuring timely payments, and collaborating closely with procurement and finance teams.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in B2B marketing and demand generation with a proven history of achieving business outcomes.
  • A minimum of 4 years in ProAV product marketing or marketing communications directed at end users and channel partners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and lead generation best practices, coupled with strong project management capabilities.
  • Experience in ProAV solution marketing and storytelling across diverse customer segments.
  • Background in ProAV trade shows, field marketing, and sales enablement.
  • A solid technical grasp of ProAV solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in briefing creative projects to marketing shared services or agencies and overseeing execution.
  • Experience supporting a sales organization with approximately $85M in revenue.

  • Proven ability to understand business needs, uncover insights, and translate them into effective market awareness and customer demand.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to navigate challenges with innovative thinking.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to analyze data and continuously refine strategies based on key insights.

  • Ability to effectively lead a diverse team towards achieving business objectives.
  • Proficient in navigating and organizing within a complex matrix organization.
  • Skilled and professional speaker at press events, trade shows, partner gatherings, and internal meetings.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to work independently and communicate across all organizational levels.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, capable of making decisions and resolving issues under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English across all organizational levels.
