Job Title: Store CoachJob SummaryThe Store Coach is a key member of our MOD team, responsible for helping the General Manager drive overall store operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and the ability to motivate and inspire our Squad members.
Key Responsibilities- Be an example of MOD values and behaviors, demonstrating a service mindset through effective leadership
- Coach Shift Captains to maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere
- Demonstrate, train, and coach Squad members in all methods for accomplishing store tasks
- Ensure all stations, product, and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and meet quality standards
- Manage cash handling functions for the shift
- Minimum 6 months in a Shift Captain position or 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail store or restaurant
- Experience successfully leading, coaching, training, and motivating front-line employees
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Belief in our purpose, accepting of change, and a growth mindset
- High noise levels due to operations, customers, and overhead music
- May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on store (varied weather conditions expected)
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates
