CareerPaths NW is seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician II to join our esteemed organization, recognized for delivering top-notch mechanical solutions.

This pivotal role involves participating in the On-Call Service rotation and making substantial contributions to both service and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Service lead for scheduled preventive maintenance, service calls, and projects, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and system dependability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Project Managers, providing daily updates on project statuses.
  • Lead project field teams in the checkout process, including troubleshooting and diagnosing intricate BMS challenges, rectifying programming errors, and developing sophisticated GFX logic strategies from Sequences of Operation (SOO), particularly for central plants and extensive HVAC systems.
  • Oversee installation and service projects as necessary, including drafting and executing customer Method of Procedure (MOP) and MCM.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, compile daily reports, and act as the main contact for required corrective measures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 24 months of experience as a Building Automation Specialist I or equivalent field experience.
  • Proven technical proficiency in building management systems, with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing project field teams and subcontractors.
  • Expertise in developing intricate GFX logic strategies and diagnosing programming challenges.
  • Completion of MCA PM course.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
