About the Role:

CareerPaths NW is seeking a Building Automation Technician I to enhance our innovative team.

This position is vital to our operations, involving participation in the On-Call Service rotation and collaboration with various departments, including Service, Construction, and Panel Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop BMS N4 stations and databases from inception.
  • Lead project checkout and commissioning efforts (MOP and MCM).
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as dictated by project requirements.
  • Serve as a Service lead for scheduled preventive maintenance, service calls, and project initiatives.
  • Oversee the construction of BMS control panels.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 months experience as a Technician II or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Tridium N4 certification is mandatory.
  • Completion of Distech Controller and Distech GFX courses is required.
  • Proven ability to create BMS stations and establish networks within a station, including BACnet, LonWorks, MODBUS, and IP.
  • Expertise in assessing network structures, addressing devices, and converting Sequences of Operation into logical steps and formats.
  • Skilled in configuring BMS stations and network settings.
  • Ability to effectively evaluate network structures and address devices.
  • Capability to translate Sequences of Operation into coherent logical steps and formats.
