We are collaborating with a forward-thinking and culture-centric organization in South Orange County that is in search of a seasoned Compensation and Benefits Specialist. This role is essential for overseeing the company's total rewards initiatives aimed at attracting, retaining, and inspiring exceptional talent.

This position is temporary and hybrid (2 days remote work).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives, ensuring our compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive within the industry.
  • Direct the analysis, design, and management of compensation programs, including salary frameworks, incentive structures, and equity plans, while ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll operations for a multi-state employee base.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, encompassing health, retirement, and wellness initiatives, while continuously evaluating and enhancing these offerings to promote employee well-being.
  • Develop and administer recognition initiatives that acknowledge and reward employee contributions, fostering a motivated and engaged workforce.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications as necessary.
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits, ensuring the organization’s compliance at all times.
  • Create and execute communication strategies to inform employees about their total rewards packages, ensuring they understand and value their benefits.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of compensation and benefits professionals, supporting their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits management and payroll administration.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is essential.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, benefits management, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the capability to align total rewards initiatives with organizational goals.
